Sustainable Harvest Practices

Our witch hazel is sourced from USDA-certified organic forestlands and harvested using sustainable practices to help promote forest regrowth.

Electricity From Renewable Resources

At least 30% of the electricity we purchase is generated from environmentally friendly producers to power our facilities.

Heat Recycling

We employ many green manufacturing techniques such as reclaiming the heat generated from our production process to heat our building and hot water.

Energy Conservation

We upgraded our lighting throughout our facility to LEDs, using 50-75% less energy building-wide.

Pulp Recycling

After processing, the remaining witch hazel wood chips are sold as landscaping mulch to local garden stores so that what comes from the earth, goes back to the earth!

All of our products are manufactured in East Hampton, CT.

Cruelty-Free & Vegan

Our products are manufactured without experimentation on animals, and none of our products are produced from any animals or animal byproducts.

Dye, Sulfates, Parabens, Phthalates & Gluten Free

None of our products contain any dyes, sulfates, parabens, phthalates or gluten except for our Hemorrhoidal Pads which contain a small amount of methylparaben.  This is a common cosmetic and personal-care preservative that is necessary for safety due to the application area of the product and the need to keep the rest of the pads in the jar free from bacterial growth.
